What is Digital signature?
A digital signature is an electronic mark used to authenticate the identity of the signer on a digital document. At its simplest, it is a drawn or typed representation of a handwritten signature applied to a PDF. More advanced digital signatures use cryptographic verification to prove the signer's identity and that the document has not been altered since signing.
